Aqua Water, Elgin reach resolution

Aqua Water Supply Corporation, Austin Community College and the City of Elgin have reached agreement regarding an end to the legal conflict over who will provide water to a new ACC campus and other land in Elgin.

• On Jan. 3, Officer Greg Stewart conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Prima and found the driver who was identified as Artemio Garza to have an invalid driver’s license and also a warrant issued by the City of Smithville and another warrant issued by Travis County for possession of marijuana.
